Good day, everyone! After months of hard work, we’re glad to inform you that our POD (Print on Demand) feature is available now! This kind of feature allows you and your customers to add special designs to our products in the ‘Print on Demand’ area.
However, there are some slight differences between design by merchants and by buyers. Therefore, the whole feature will be introduced in two separate articles. And this one focuses on how merchants post their designs on a specific product.
Just search and pick any product you are interested in from our Print on Demand marketplace and click. And then proceed to ‘Start Design’ in the product detail page.
You can upload and adjust your picture on the same page. Add text to the product in the design page front and back. Please note that the size of the design picture cannot be smaller than 1000*1000. After all of them are set, just click ‘Save’. You can see the effects of the picture by change the color of the item (some items, not all have this fiction).
On the product information, you can change the product name, select the variant colors and shipping method for your unique product. Then click ‘Save’ to send us your design. It may take a few seconds to complete due to the size of your picture.
After that, you can check your own design in ‘My CJ’ > ‘Print on Demand’ > ‘Design Myself ’list. And by clicking the image or name of the product, you can view all the details on the next page.
As you can see from this screenshot, the product designed on your own is exclusive for you. Even the SKU is generated for you only. Any other customer cannot get access to it from our platform.
Before you list the designed products to your store, please go to the authorization page to check if the POD feature is enabled. If you can see the ‘Add POD Feature’ button, it means that this feature has not yet turned on. Thus, you need to click the button. Reauthorize your store.
You can set the button style in your store by clicking POD setting on the authorization page.
Now, you can just add them by clicking ‘List’ and fill in some blanks on the product page or in the previous ‘Design Myself’ list.
Finally, your customer can see this product from your store just like our example product below.
Well, I am really a bad designer… Any one of you can do better than me. So wanna come and have a try at this print on demand feature from CJ Dropshipping?
