Connecting ShipStation to CJdropshipping lets you automate order fulfillment for platforms like Amazon and other channels that CJ does not directly integrate with, through CJ as an ERP Platform integration.

Note: ShipStation connects to CJ as an ERP Platform integration, mainly for platforms like Amazon and other channels that CJ does not directly integrate with. If you only sell on Shopify or WooCommerce, authorize those platforms directly instead.
Step 1Key PointAPI Settings Access

Log in to your ShipStation account at shipstation.com (the account email must be verified). Go to Settings (gear icon) → Account → API Settings. Under API Keys, keep Select API Version as V1 API, then click Generate API Key.

Step 1
1Select API Version: V1 API— Keep the version as V1 API (CJ uses the V1 API Key/Secret pair)
2Generate API Key— Click to start generating the API Key
Step 2Key PointAPI Key Generation

Choose a key expiration (e.g. 12 months) and click Generate. ShipStation verifies your identity — enter your password, then the 6-digit code sent to your account email. An API Key Created dialog then shows your API Key and Secret Key. Copy both immediately — they are shown only once and cannot be retrieved later.

Step 2
1API Key— Paste into CJ's API Key field
2Secret Key— Paste into CJ's API Secret field — shown only once
Step 3Key PointApp Installation

Log in to CJ Dropshipping. In the left sidebar, go to Apps → Install App to open the App Store. Scroll to the ERP Platform section, find Shipstation, and click its install icon. A green check mark means it is installed, and ShipStation now appears in the sidebar under Apps.

Tip: If ShipStation already appears in your left sidebar under Apps, it has been installed previously. You can skip this step and go directly to Step 4 to connect your store.
Step 3
1Shipstation (ERP Platform) — install— Click the install icon on the Shipstation card under ERP Platform
Step 4Key PointStore List Page

In the left sidebar, click Apps → ShipStation. If no stores are connected yet, you'll see an empty page — click the Add Store button.

Step 4
1Add Store— Click to open the Add Store dialog
Step 5Key PointCredential Entry

In the Add Store dialog, Store Type is fixed as Shipstation. Paste the API Key and Secret Key from ShipStation into the API Key and API Secret fields, then click Authorize. There is no Store Name field.

Step 5
1API Key— Paste the API Key from ShipStation
2API Secret— Paste the Secret Key from ShipStation
3Authorize— Click to submit and authorize the store
Step 6Key PointConnection Confirmation

After authorizing, your store appears in the Store List with Token Verification Results: Authorized and Store Status: Activated. The connection is complete. Contact a CJ agent in the chatroom for any further order-bridging settings.

Step 6
1Token Verification: Authorized— Credential verified successfully
2Store Status: Activated— ShipStation connection is active
