Running a Temu store successfully requires meeting Temu’s strict fulfillment time requirements.

This tutorial will guide you through the process of connecting a CJ warehouse to your Temu store so that your inventory and orders can sync correctly and your listings meet Temu’s standards.

*Currently, only the U.S. warehouses (U.S. region) are available for the Temu store connection in CJ.

Step 1: Get the CJ Warehouse List and Warehouse Address

If you are using a CJ self-operated warehouse, follow these steps:

After authorization, go to the Temu semi-managed store list page and click Action > Inventory Sync Setting.

1. There are two tabs on this page:

  • US Local Warehouse
U.S. local warehouses are actual stocking warehouses in the United States, suitable for TEMU U.S. Y1 business. Orders are fulfilled directly from U.S. warehouse inventory.
  • US Transit Warehouse (Y2)
U.S. transit warehouses are suitable for TEMU U.S. Y2 business. Products are shipped from China warehouses to U.S. transit warehouses, then relabeled with platform shipping labels for final delivery.

2. Under each CJ warehouse, you can expand the warehouse details to view the address, contact information, and other details. Copy this information for later use.

If you are using a CJ supplier warehouse, you can get the warehouse details directly from the CJ product details page.

Step 2: Add a Warehouse in the Temu Seller Center

1. In the Temu Seller Center, go to:

Shipping Management > Warehouse Address Management

Make sure the region in the upper-right corner is set to United States.

Then click Create Shipping Warehouse.

If you are operating TEMU Y1 business (U.S. warehouse fulfillment), select Self-owned Warehouse and manually enter the warehouse address.  Paste the warehouse information copied from CJ and fill in the fields.
  • If you are operating TEMU Y2 business (China warehouse fulfillment), you must also add a warehouse with the type Self-owned Warehouse - Others.

The address information should still be copied from the CJ US Transit Warehouse (Y2) list.

2. Fill in the warehouse information in the Temu backend and complete the warehouse creation.

Step 3: Connect CJ Warehouses with Store Warehouses in Inventory Sync Settings

1. In the Temu semi-managed store list, click: Action > Inventory Sync Setting

2. In the pop-up window, select the corresponding warehouse created in the Temu backend from the dropdown list under each CJ warehouse and establish the warehouse mapping one by one.

  • If the warehouse type is Self-owned Warehouse - Others, the connection must be configured under the Y2 tab.

3. If you are using a supplier warehouse, connect the store warehouse and CJ warehouse in the supplier warehouse connection module.

Warning: If the warehouse connection is incorrect, your inventory data may become inconsistent between CJ and Temu.

Step 4: Configure Inventory Sync Rules

1. Scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up window to configure inventory sync strategies.

The meanings of each option are as follows:

Option Meaning
CJ’s Inventory when No Private Inventory Left Sync private inventory first. If no private inventory is available, sync public inventory.
Private Inventory Only Sync private inventory only.
CJ’s Inventory Only Sync public inventory only.
Not Sync Do not sync inventory.

The above strategies apply to short-delivery-time products (Y1 products). Inventory will be synchronized based on the actual inventory type in the warehouse.

2. For long-delivery-time products (Y2 products), the sync logic is as follows:

Based on the selected inventory sync strategy, the system calculates the total inventory to be synchronized as:

  • China inventory (excluding China warehouse inventory and supplier self-shipping inventory)
  • Plus all U.S. inventory

The total inventory will then be evenly distributed among the warehouses connected under the Y2 tab.

For example:

If the total inventory in China and the U.S. is 1000 units, and warehouses A and B are connected under Y2, then:

  • Warehouse A syncs 500 units
  • Warehouse B syncs 500 units

3. Inventory Sync Trigger Conditions

Inventory synchronization will be triggered in the following situations:

  • When CJ product inventory changes
  • Immediately after store products are linked with CJ products
  • Immediately after adding warehouse connections or changing inventory sync strategies

Important Notes

Inventory synchronization requires that the store variant SKU is linked with the CJ SKU. Otherwise, inventory will not be synchronized.
