How to Set a Default Shipping Method for Store and Products?
Setting up default shipping methods can be timesaving as long as the shipping methods are supported in the destination countries. There are different categories to set the default shipping and the precedence. In this article, we will introduce how to set up for: 1. Your store; 2. Your products. Below are the detailed instructions to set up default shipping methods. 1. For your store: Step 1: Go to Authorization > Store Logistics. Step 2: Click "Add Shipping Method". You can add 3 shipping methods at most. Step 3: Select the shipping method, applied countries and the priority, and save. 2. For products: Step 1: Go to Products > Store Products/My Productst > Shipping Method. Step 2: Click "Add Shipping Method" and select the shipping method, applied countries and priority. Then click "Save". Regarding which default shipping method (for store, product or order) will be applied, you can set the precedence yourself in Profile > Default Shipping Method Settings. How to Proceed When Shopify Orders Syncing Failed?
Shopify is the most popular and compatible platform among CJ's cooperated platforms. However, you might feel confused when orders fail to be synced to CJ. What should be done to fix that? First of all, please note that an order from Shopify can only be synced to CJ when: a. The order is "Paid" and "Unfulfilled". b. The order has a Shippping address (not a Billing address). c. The time frame that you filter is correct. Here are the specific steps: 1. You could go to Orders > Store Orders> Imported> Orders > click the button "Sync Store Orders" to sync orders manually. If that doesn't work, you could refer to the reason written in the popup. 2. Check if the product is properly connected with CJ. If the orders are found in Imported > Invalid Orders on CJ, that means the products are not connected well with CJ. Solutions: a. Click Action > Connect. Searched the products both in your store and CJ and make every needed variant in your store connect well with CJ. b. If there's a product of your order that doesn't exist on our platform, you could post a sourcing request first. After we successfully source it, you could go to Products > Store Products > Unconnected and add the automatic connection on CJ. Then, select the orders in Invalid Orders > click "Batch Update to Orders" > find the orders in Imported > Orders. Finally, the orders could be paid and processed normally. 3. If the order still cannot be synced, you can: Place a manual order on CJ > upload the tracking number and mark the order in your Shopify store as fulfilled. Important notes to ensure normal syncing: a. Please make sure that the product title, tag, price, or SKU don't exceed Shopify's limits. b. If you've added, deleted, or modified the product variant in your store, you would need to connect the product again by adding an automatic connection. c. How to Sync Store Orders?
After you have authorized your store on CJ and connected your products with CJ's, you need to sync your orders manually. Here are two ways: 1. Sync from all stores. a. Click Sync Store Ordes > choose All Stores > click Sync Now; b. Check orders in the Orders or Invalid Orders. 2. Sync from a specific store. a. Select the store and fill in the required information before clicking Sync Now; b. Check orders in the Orders or Invalid Orders. 1. Sync stores orders from all stores. Click Sync Store Ordes > choose All Stores > click Sync Now. Please wait patiently for the syncing result. Then, you can check orders from your store in the Orders or Invalid Orders respectively. 2. Sync from a specific store. a. Select the store and set a time span before clicking Sync Now. Please note that the time span should be no more than 15 days and orders from Shopify stores can only be synced by Time. You can also choose Order Number and enter your store order number before syncing if the type of the store is not Shopify. Please wait patiently for a syncing result. After that, you can check orders in the Orders or Invalid Orders respectively. Note: 1. If you want to Auto-Sync your orders to CJ, there are two ways for you. a. Click Authorization > choose Shopify > click Auto-Sync(Order&Product Information). b. Click Orders > click Sync Store Orders > choose Shopify > click Auto-Sync your store orders to CJ. 2. How to Buy Products from CJ US Warehouses?
Many customers prefer to choose the US warehouse for fast shipping time. Here we have an instruction on how to list products from the US warehouse and pay for them. 1. Choose US warehouse on the homepage; 2. Select the product you prefer > Sample/Wholesale > Place an order. Here are the specific steps: 1. Choose the US warehouse on the homepage. You will find the tending categories and can filter products by "Free Shipping" or sort by price or number of listing. 2. How to Import an Excel Order?
If you do not have a store or website connected with our platform, you can import orders via Excel files. Here are the general steps. 1. Log into your CJ account > Orders > Store Orders > Imported > Orders > Click "Import Orders" icon. 2. Click "Download" to download our template. 3. Fill in the order details. 4. Go back to Orders > Store Orders > Imported > Orders > Upload the edited Excel. 5. Import by your custom template. Detailed steps: Log into your CJ account > Orders > Store Orders > Imported > Orders > Click "Import Orders" icon. Click "Download" to download our template. Open the Excel File at the bottom and enter the necessary order information. Go back to Orders > Store Orders > Imported > Orders Upload the edited Excel. You can also click "Go to custom template" to add a personal template. Click to add a template. The system will use the first row as the header. Match CJ's fields with your template headers, enter a name, and save. After entering the name and saving, a new template will be created. When importing, select your new template to proceed. Note 1: a. Please do not remove/change the top row highlighted in green. b. Order Number = the order number from your store. c. As for products with variants, please make sure the variants are included in the SKU. For example: CJABCDEF12345-Red-XXL instead of CJABCDEF12345; or CJJD118270901AZ instead of CJJD1182709. d. As for products without variants, please make sure the "-default" is included behind the SKU number. For example: CJABCDEF12345-default. Note 2: 1. Our POD products can also be imported via excel sheets. 2. You can enter the URL to upload the product image. File format can be converted here: SM.MS. Note3: a. For orders shipping to the EU countries, you should fill in your tax number. b. If you want to apply the CJ's IOSS, you should set it up in 'Edit Address' after uploading the Excel. Please be noted that you should set the IOSS options in your Profile before setting up. Note 4: a. Before uploading excels, please make sure that the products have been added to your My Products. b. You can also create orders by searching for products. c. Once imported successfully, orders can be found in Store Orders > Imported > Orders and you can click "Add to Orders Picking" to pay. d. How to Place a Manual Dropshipping Order on CJ?
CJ develops a feature that enables CJ customers to create orders on our platform with ease. Here are the general steps. 1. Go to Store Orders > Imported > Orders > Click "Create orders" icon on the top right; 2. Select products in SKU List/All Products; 3. Fill in the shipping information; 4. Add to cart and pay. Note: 1. If the selected products on the different warehouses (eg. China warehouse and US warehouse), then the system will divide them. Also, if you enter the shipping information for New Order 1, you can click the duplicate icon (Beside New Order 2) to copy it for New Order 2. 2. How to Set up Automatic Dropshipping Orders?
When you registered your CJ account, you may wonder how to sync orders automatically. Here are some directions for you to achieve that. After these steps, the CJ team will automatically handle the orders in your shop, ship for you, and sync the tracking numbers to your customers. Simple Directions: 1. Authorize stores: Authorization; 2. Connect products: a. Automatic connection; b. Sourcing request; c. Listing; 3. Confirm and Pay. Detailed Directions: 1. Authorize your stores. Please sign in and go to Authorization > Add store and the store status should be activated when everything is well done. 2. There are three types of products that you can connect and order. a. The existing products in your store and CJ. When you want CJ to become your supplier, you need to go to Products > Store Products > Unconnected to connect your products with ours. b. Products do not exist on CJ. If you didn't find the same product, you can post a sourcing request by clicking Service > Sourcing > Post Sourcing Request. There are two sourcing types: your store existing products and individual products by product links and images. You need to select one type and submit a request to us. c. Products do not exist in your store and CJ. If you wanna add some new products from CJ to your store, click the "List" button on the product page. PS: The total dropshipping cost of the product is equal to the product price plus its shipping cost. 3. Check the orders imported from your store in Orders > Store Orders > Imported >Orders. Then you can choose the orders to be fulfilled by CJ. Please note that you need to click "Sync Store Orders" to sync orders from your store to the CJ platform, during which you may import orders based on store names and times.
