How to Manage Shopify Delivery Profiles on CJ?
To successfully sell products on Shopify, each product must be linked to a Delivery Profile, which defines how shipping fees are calculated and charged to customers. Without a Delivery Profile, products may appear as unavailable or unsellable on your store. Due to Shopify’s latest policy updates, CJ now supports centralized management of Delivery Profiles for Shopify stores. This helps simplify shipping configuration and reduces the risk of products becoming unavailable because a Delivery Profile was not properly linked. This guide explains how to enable CJ-managed Delivery Profiles, how to configure shipping rates, and how to ensure your products are correctly associated during listing. Overview: Why Delivery Profiles Matter After a product is published to Shopify, the CJ-created location must be associated with a Delivery Profile.A Delivery Profile can be understood as a shipping template that determines how much customers pay for shipping based on regions and rates. Previously: Delivery Profiles were created and managed directly in the Shopify admin Sellers had to manually link CJ locations to the correct Delivery Profile Now: CJ can manage Delivery Profiles on your behalf This provides a more consistent and error-free shipping setup, aligned with Shopify’s latest requirements Step 1: Store Delivery Profile Master Switch In the CJ system, you will find a Delivery Profile switch in the Shopify store list. Switch Rules Explained Stores created after Jan 19, 2026 (20:00 Beijing Time) The switch is enabled by default It cannot be turned off Delivery Profiles must be managed by CJ Tooltip message: According to Shopify's latest policy, newly authorized stores require the application to manage the Delivery Profile itself, and disabling it is not currently supported. Stores created before Jan 19, 2026 (20:00 Beijing Time) The switch can be enabled or disabled manually If the Switch Cannot Be Enabled If the switch is disabled and cannot be turned on: You need to reauthorize your Shopify store After reauthorization, CJ will gain permission to manage Delivery Profiles Tooltip message: You need to reauthorize the store to enable this switch. Please reauthorize. If the switch can be toggled freely, your store already has Delivery Profile management permission. Step 2: Managing Delivery Profiles After Enabling the Switch Once the master switch is enabled, CJ can maintain shipping configurations for your Shopify store. Step 2.1: Access Delivery Profile Management Go to:Action → Store Delivery Profiles Click Sync the latest Delivery profiles to fetch the most recent data from Shopify Delivery Profiles created directly in Shopify can be viewed but cannot be edited in CJ at this time Step 2.2: Add a New Delivery Profile Click Add Delivery Profile to create a new shipping configuration. Scenario 1: No Delivery Profile Linked to a CJ Location If the system detects that a CJ-created location is not linked to any Delivery Profile: A dialog will appear asking whether you want CJ to automatically create a free-shipping Delivery Profile If you click YES: CJ will generate a Delivery Profile for all store markets Shipping price will be set to 0 You will be asked to confirm After confirmation, the profile will be created and synced to Shopify automatically Scenario 2: Manual Delivery Profile Setup If you choose “No, I need to edit it myself”, you will enter the manual configuration page. You can configure: Profile Name Included Locations Must be CJ-created locations One location can only belong to one Delivery Profile Shipping Regions Select from all countries available in your store’s markets Regions can be grouped for easier management Click Next Step to continue. Step 2.3: Configure Shipping Rates The system will prompt: This location only supports flat-rate shipping at the moment (precise rate calculation will be supported in the future). Do you want to continue? Click Continue to proceed. On the configuration page: Enter a Custom Rate Name (visible to customers) Enter the Price Optional: Add weight-based conditions Weight unit: grams Weight ranges must not overlap If not enabled, the rate applies as a flat price After completing all required fields, click Confirm and Sync Platform. The Delivery Profile will be created and synced to your Shopify admin. Step 3: View CJ-Managed Delivery Profiles in Shopify You can verify the profiles created by CJ directly in Shopify: Shopify Admin → Settings → Shipping and delivery Here, you will see the Delivery Profiles maintained by CJ. Step 4: Linking Delivery Profiles When Listing Products Once the switch is enabled, associating products with a Delivery Profile becomes mandatory during listing. Single or Bulk Product Listing A Delivery Profile dropdown will appear on the product listing page If no Delivery Profile matches the CJ location: The dropdown will be empty A prompt will appear: No matching Delivery Profile found. Please add one in Store Delivery Profile Management. If a matching profile exists, it will be selected by default Template Listing When using listing templates: The system will check whether a Delivery Profile is bound to the template If not, the listing will fail with the error: The template lacks the Delivery Profile. Please edit the template to add it and try again. To fix this: Edit the template Bind a Delivery Profile Retry the listing Summary Enabling CJ-managed Delivery Profiles helps Shopify sellers: Stay compliant with Shopify’s latest shipping policies Reduce listing errors and prevent products from becoming unavailable Simplify shipping configuration across multiple markets By following the steps above, you can ensure your products are always sellable and that shipping fees are calculated correctly. If you need any help during the process, don’t hesitate to reach out to CJ online support. We’re here to assist you at any time. -
How to Set Up Platform Logistics for US TikTok Shop on CJ?
1. Background This tutorial explains how to configure TikTok US Shop platform logistics for your store on the CJ platform.Previously, only the East and West US warehouses supported TikTok platform logistics. Now, all CJ warehouses and supplier warehouses that support self-pickup are now eligible to use TikTok Platform Logistics. 2. Feature Overview Other CJ warehouses and supplier warehouses now support Platform Logistics. The system adds configuration options to specify logistics brands and set logistics strategies when using platform logistics. 3. Store Settings 3.1 Configure Platform Logistics Strategy Path: Authorization → Store List → Action → Logistics Type Settings This configuration applies to orders that are imported as Platform Logistics orders.(Orders’ logistics type depends on settings in the TikTok Seller Center.)You can select which logistics brands to use, and if multiple options exist, define how the system chooses between them. Add a configuration option for Designated Logistics Brands at the store level. a. If you specify logistics brands such as USPS and FedEx, CJ will only select platform logistics from those options.Even if the warehouse supports other logistics brands, only the designated ones will be used. b If no brand is specified, the system will use the list of logistics brands supported by the connected warehouse to obtain platform logistics. c. The page provides a link to view which logistics brands each warehouse supports. Add Logistics Strategy Configuration Option 1: Price Priority – The system will select the logistics option with the lowest shipping rate. Option 2: Speed Priority – The system will select the logistics option with the fastest estimated delivery time. 3.2 Add Warehouses in TikTok Backend Path: TikTok Seller Center → Orders → Fulfillment Settings → Warehouse Settings You can add new warehouses in the TikTok Seller Center. Warehouse address and information can be copied from CJ Store → Sync Settings. 3.3 CJ Warehouse Connection Configuration Before: Now: Before: Other CJ warehouses and supplier warehouses did not support Platform Logistics and displayed an error message. Now: The message has been removed, and these warehouses now support Platform Logistics. Before: Each supplier warehouse could only be connected to one warehouse. Now: Supplier warehouses can be connected to multiple warehouses. 3.4 TikTok Backend Platform Logistics Configuration Path: TikTok Seller Center → Orders → Shipping Settings → Delivery Settings If the store’s current mode is Seller Shipping, it means merchant's self-shipping mode.Click Switch Option and change it to TikTok Shipping, which represents using Platform Logistics mode. 3.5 TikTok Backend Order Processing After the order is generated, its initial status is To Be Shipped. Do not purchase a label (shipping label) at this stage. Once the order is synced to CJ and payment is completed, the system will automatically purchase the label. If you purchase a label directly in TikTok Seller Center, the order will move to Awaiting Pickup, which cannot be synced into CJ (different from Temu platform logic). 4. Order Fulfillment 4.1 Logistics Validation During Order Confirmation When submitting payment, the system checks whether there is an intersection among the following three lists: Available logistics for the order Logistics brands specified by the store Logistics supported by the connected warehouse If no intersection exists, the system will display an error message. The system will display all three lists (order, store, warehouse) for your reference, helping you identify the cause directly. If you wish to specify a certain logistics brand, you can configure it in Section 3.1. Exception Scenarios: Currently, combined orders are not supported for payment submission. When this occurs, please split the orders in your TikTok Seller Center and retry. If a supplier warehouse does not support platform logistics or has not set a pickup price, the system will display an error. If the TikTok warehouse is not connected to a CJ warehouse, the system will display a connection error. 4.2 Automatic Label Purchase After Payment After payment, the system will determine the valid logistics intersection, apply the configured logistics strategy, select one logistics option, and automatically purchase the label. Once the label is successfully purchased, the TikTok order status will update to Awaiting Pickup. If it’s a CJ warehouse, the logistics system will automatically create the label and push it to the warehouse. If it’s a supplier warehouse, the label will automatically be pushed to the supplier’s system for download, and the supplier can then mark the order as shipped. How to Process Temu Local Platform Shipping Labels with CJdropshipping?
Managing fulfillment efficiently is crucial for Temu sellers, as Temu enforces strict delivery time requirements. To meet these standards, CJdropshipping provides an option to connect your Temu store with CJ warehouses in the U.S. region and process Temu platform shipping labels directly. This tutorial will guide you step by step through: Setting up logistics and warehouse connections; Configuring inventory sync rules; Understanding listing changes; Processing orders with or without purchased shipping labels. By following this guide, you can ensure that your inventory, shipping labels, and fulfillment are properly synchronized between CJ and Temu, helping you run your store smoothly and avoid order or inventory mismatches. 1. Store Basic Settings 1.1 Store Logistics Settings Link: Temu US Local Store Authorization>> Similar to the semi-managed Temu platform, CJ adds an option to enable platform logistics: Yes/No Select “Yes”:After orders are pulled from the store (self-selected logistics orders), they will default to platform logistics mode. The system will automatically match Temu’s logistics options, and during payment, the system will process the shipping label by purchasing the label through the platform. Select “No”:After orders are pulled, they will default to CJ logistics (self-selected logistics mode). During payment, the system will not purchase the platform label. Later, in the printing stage, the shipping label will be processed through CJ’s freight forwarding interface. 1.2 Add a Store-Specific Logistics Brand Configuration If you specify brands (e.g., USPS, FedEx), then when CJ fetches the platform logistics, only these brands will be available. Even if other logistics are supported by the warehouse, only the selected brands can be used. If no brand is specified, the warehouse-supported logistics list will be used by default. A link is provided on the page to view which logistics brands each warehouse supports. 2. Store Inventory Sync Settings Link: Temu US Local Inventory Sync>> 2.1 CJ Warehouse Information Inventory sync settings are the same as Temu semi-managed store setup. CJ adds 10 U.S. warehouses and supplier warehouses. Customers can view the warehouse information and add the corresponding warehouse in the Temu seller backend. 2.2 Supplier Warehouse Information Supplier warehouse information can also be checked, as shown in the settings. 2.3 Adding Warehouses in Temu Backend In Temu’s seller backend: Temu Shipping Settings>> Add a warehouse with the type Self-Owned Warehouse. 2.4 Connect Store Warehouses with CJ Warehouses After creating the warehouse in Temu, return to CJ to sync and associate warehouses. Click Sync Warehouse at the top of the CJ page to fetch warehouse info from Temu. Map CJ warehouses to Temu warehouses one-to-one and save. Once saved, inventory sync will follow the associated warehouse mapping. Important change in logic: Before platform logistics goes live, inventory sync is based on all U.S. warehouse stock. After platform logistics is enabled, inventory sync follows the associated warehouse only. 2.5 Important Note If the warehouse connection is incomplete: Only inventory from connected warehouses will sync to Temu. Unconnected warehouse inventory will not sync, which may cause under-displayed stock in your Temu store. 3. Listing-Related Changes 3.1 Store Listings If warehouses are not associated, pulled inventory = 0, and listings will publish with 0 stock. If warehouses are connected, the system will sum the stock of associated warehouses and display the total for listing. 4. Order Fulfillment Changes 4.1 Orders with Purchased Shipping Labels in Temu (Pre-purchased Platform Logistics Orders) Order Status: Orders are imported as PK orders, with “Store Platform Logistics” displayed under the logistics option. (This means the shipping label has already been purchased in the Temu backend, and the order can only be fulfilled using platform logistics options.) For CJ warehouses: logistics option = Temu-US For supplier warehouses: logistics option = Store Platform Logistics Warehouse Not Connected Warning: If a warehouse used for purchased labels in Temu is not connected to a CJ warehouse, the system will return an error. Important Note: If you choose to purchase shipping labels in the Temu backend, do not select the current day as the shipping date. If you do, once the label is purchased, the order will be marked as shipped in Temu and cannot be imported into CJ. 4.2 Orders Without Purchased Shipping Labels in Temu (Self-Selected Logistics Orders) Platform Logistics Option Marking: If platform logistics is enabled, orders pulled into CJ will default to Platform Logistics. For CJ warehouse shipments: logistics option = Temu-US For supplier self-shipped items: logistics option = Store Platform Logistics When the Platform Logistics option is chosen and payment is made, the system will automatically communicate with Temu to obtain package details and shipping label information for fulfillment. Switching Logistics Per Order: For each order, users can freely change the logistics option to another available method (e.g., other CJ logistics). -
